At Glassworks, we're constantly pushing ourselves to incorporate more sustainable fabrics into our collection. At the end of last year, we expanded our denim range, bringing new styles and fits. As part of our commitment to minimise our environmental impact, we also carried out extensive research to create more sustainable cotton blends for our jeans.
Cotton is a dominant natural fibre in the textile industry, but its production requires vast amounts of water and energy. We worked alongside our production team to create more sustainable denim, using recycled cotton blends. By blending recycled cotton with conventional or organic cotton, environmental impact can be minimised, without losing fabric elasticity, durability and accessibility.
